Berit McClure learns horse training at the Four Mountains Ranch northwest of Portland. Owners Rich Ovenburg (right) and Mary Folberg work many horses on a beautiful piece of land overlooking the confluence of the Willamette and Columbia rivers. Mary conducts lunging with Marlena in the ring which helps train her gait and exercises as well.
