Politics & Protests

Protester Kendra Lloyd-Knox (right) is physically quieted by a supporter who could not take the banter any longer. Police took the woman from the angry crowd who demanded her arrest but she was soon released and escorted out of the area. Tempers flared occasionally as President George W. Bush makes a campaign stop at Southridge High School in Beaverton.
