They sit near the site where Japanese Americans were held in 1942 while the internment camps were hastily constructed. The metal tags themselves represent those actually worn by the 3,800 incarcerated at the center. The new Interstate Avenue Max line will feature pieces by many regional artists that reflect the Northwest in its influences.
